Since the release of iOS 7 last week there has been a huge response as to the latest version, with most being very positive, but as ever Apple cannot please everyone. However, they do not help matters when there are issues with a new version of the mobile OS, but as ever most of these problems are user related and can be easily resolved.

We recently looked at iOS 7 problems specific to the iPad, and we thought you might want to know about another, which is to do with iOS 7 apps waiting being stuck. There has been a lot of confusion with this problem, one that we found while testing it on our iPad in beta.

Okay, so we know this issue has been around for a while, but there is a way to resolve the iOS 7 Apps stuck in waiting update, and as such should help to put an end to this confusion.

There had been many suggestions on how to fix this back in the beta days, but now the public release is here it’s an easy fix. Having said that, there are still a few different ways to fix this issue, and so one could work for you while another might not.

The easiest thing to try first if your apps are stuck in waiting is to hold your finger on an app on the homescreen and wait for them to wiggle as if you are about to delete it, just move one around and then in some cases this could force them to install.

Secondly, you could try turning Airplane mode on, then doing a hard rest and once it has started back up switch Airplane mode off and this should force the apps that had been waiting to install one at a time. Have these methods worked for you or do you have any more?
