If you are seriously considering picking up Battlefield 4 on PS4, then you definitely do not want to miss out on this new video that we have for you. So far we have been restricted to viewing Battlefield 4 gameplay videos on PC, but finally we can bring you what looks to be the first evidence of Battlefield 4 running on PS4 hardware for the first time.
You may not have been aware, but Battlefield 4 was actually playable on the PS4 during the ongoing Tokyo Game Show in Japan. As a result, off-screen videos showing some action on the Siege of Shanghai map are now starting to appear online and Battlefield 4 is actually looking very impressive indeed running on the PS4.
Just to remind you, the PS4 version of the game will finally have support for 64 players for the first time compared to Battlefield 3. Some prospective PS4 owners had been worried that the game wouldn’t look as good in the graphics department as PC, but we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
The video you see above shows you a quick preview of the map based in China. Gameplay looks very smooth indeed and don’t forget that this is off-screen gameplay taken on a phone or camcorder. PC gamers may be looking forward to running the game at 1080p and 60FPS, but PS4 gamers should be more than happy with the gameplay shown here.
From what we can see ourselves from the video, we think that the most positive aspect is that the appears to be running very smooth on PS4. As long as DICE can promise this smooth gameplay with no slowdowns when 32 players are tearing it up on both teams – we think it could be a winner on PS4.
Take a look at this first glimpse of Battlefield 4 running on PS4 hardware and give us your reaction to the quality. Remember taking into account that this is an off-screen video.
