Sonic: Lost World trailer at TGS 2013

By Updated on

We’ve been seeing some great things from TGS 2013 this year, such as some awesome Metal Gear Solid V gameplay footage. However, if you take your gaming less serious then the new Sonic: Lost World trailer might be right down your street. Okay, the commentary may be in Japanese, but that does not mean you cannot enjoy the footage.

There has been a mixed reaction to this new trailer because while most people are happy to see a new game from the popular franchise, others believe Sonic is like Samsung and needs to slow things down a little because they have saturated the market.

Seeing this footage will no doubt get fans very exited for the Sonic: Lost World release date, although this does vary depending where you live. If you live in Europe then you will be able to get your hands on the new game on October 18, Australia gets it a day later, and North America and Japan get it on October 22 and 24 respectively on the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS.

The story behind Sonic: Lost World sees the Deadly Six determined to threaten the world, and so it is up to Sonic to save the day. This might have been a tough task before, but thanks to some new moves and power-ups he now has a better chance to defeat them.

Some of the new Sonic moves include vaulting over obstacles, sky diving and even free-running, and the famous spin-dash is back.

There are several new Sonic: Lost World features that will be specific to each platform, more of which can be explained on the Sega website.
