According to reports the Nexus 5 launch is expected this October with Android 4.4 KitKat, and this looks set to be another one of those flagship phones that potential consumers have been waiting for. With the amount of selection available now to customers waiting another month may be ideal if you are holding out for the right handset for you.

While sources suggest the new pure Google phone will launch in October it seems like the mobile phone industry is becoming relentless in providing more and more new and improved handsets, so with the acquisition of Android 4.4 KitKat, maybe the world of smartphones could do with a break.

October sounds pretty legitimate now and last week we mentioned next month as the release date for the Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat. We talked about the constantly changing hardware with the use of the new 4.4 KitKat, and how the Nexus 4 was released a month later. We also highlighted the possibility of a threesome in terms of October releases.

Rumours suggest the new Nexus 10 could also be including within this period, although we didn’t rule out the chance that the new Nexus 5 could actually be a new Nexus 4 2013 model. Are you holding out to see what October brings?
