GTA V PS3 Vs Xbox 360 graphics are negligible

By Updated on

We won’t need to ask you what game you are probably playing this week, as most of you will undoubtedly be addicted to GTA V which has just launched worldwide on Xbox 360 and PS3. After bringing you some much needed GTA V cheat codes earlier this week, we now have a useful video for you to analyze which takes a look at GTA V PS3 Vs Xbox 360 in terms of a side-by-side graphics comparison.

GTA V is a beautiful game, we don’t think anyone would disagree with that in their right mind. Even more impressive is that the visuals are so good running on old current-generation hardware, with Rockstar sticking to their guns and avoiding temptation to bring the game out early on PS4 and Xbox One.

It looks like they have ultimately made the right decision and sales will reflect this when the figures start coming in. Prior to launch, Rockstar had said in the past that they would be making a special effort to ensure that both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game would look identical to each other.

Now we finally get a chance to see if they have stuck to their word – and it looks like they were spot on. Graphical comparisons are now starting to emerge after launch and it’s safe to say that the graphical differences, if any, are negligible.

GTA V looks almost identical on PS3 and Xbox 360 and it can only mean good things for the fans and to keep the peace on social messaging boards where it usually tends to get messy. We have a video for you to watch above courtesy of CVG which gives you an exact idea of the minor differences between the two versions.

We also have some screenshots from that video as well to give you a closer look. We don’t think both sets of console owners can have any complaints over the graphical differences. Take a look and let us know what you think.

Is it a perfectly even draw on this occasion or not?

clouds are more realistic on the 360

The clouds change differently even in the beginning and cut scenes. I double checked it after I got the game. Its same as xbox version

I dunno, I kinda think the xbox version looks better. Honestly if I didn’t have to pay Live Gold for multiplayer (which I won’t do on principle cause MS gimps all internet functions and I don’t want to condone that kind of marketing) I’d have probably gotten it for my xbox because for driving games the triggers are better and after seeing that I think the graphics do look a little better on the xbox.

Not that I play multiplayer that often (another reason I don’t want to pay for Live Gold), but i wanted the option.

  • Gta Roll
