With just days to go until the release of GTA V, it is inevitable that we are already starting to see the game in circulation. Leaked GTA V gameplay clips are now being uploaded to social spaces in the masses, causing a headache for Rockstar and indeed Microsoft who are even taking the drastic steps in banning Xbox 360 consoles for those caught in the act.
In what is easily the biggest game of 2013, it’s no surprise to see gamers eager to give other fans an early heads-up before the release date. We knew we would see pre-mature gameplay clips before the September 17 launch, but perhaps Microsoft are being slightly harsh in handing out permanent bans as a result of the excitement.
It’s a difficult situation for Rockstar to monitor, but hopefully the banned consoles in question will have their ban lifted after the date goes live – this is supposed to be a joyous occasion after all. One of these consoles that has been banned belongs to the account of Jsticks11, who has braved Microsoft’s Xbox policy and uploaded several GTA V gameplay clips to Vine.
You can check it all out here – obvious spoilers await through the link. You’ll find brief gameplay clips showing tennis matches, some of the ‘adult’ activity on the streets, getting arrested by police, going through a car wash and many more.
There’s also confirmation that Microsoft has indeed banned his console, so make of that what you will. YouTube gameplay clips are also being removed at the speed of light, but we have a feeling that the masses of GTA V clips are going to get even more frantic over the weekend, so let’s see what happens.
Do you think Microsoft are right to ban the Xbox console in question, or do you agree that it is slightly harsh? Check out the juicy gameplay for yourself and let us how you view this situation.
