Last week at the IFA event Samsung announced a handset that we were not surprised about, and that was the Galaxy Note 3. Everything that was showcased about this phone was pretty much known to us way before the event in terms of hardware, but they made a few changes to its design, which has gone down positively – for the most part anyway.
In a first of two quick look videos we see the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs. HTC One, and while some of you will say it will be better to compare it to the HTC One Max once released, there will be some of you wondering if you should stick with a large smartphone or make the move up to a phablet instead.
With these two phones it is always going to be a battle of the sizes because the Note 3 is an inch larger than the HTC One. There is no denying the HTC handset is a great phone with its specs and design, although the lack of removable battery is always going to be an issue for some of you. Watch the complete video below when we also get to see how these two devices stack up in terms of features.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs. Mega 5.8 might be a more comparable look between the two in terms of size, but that’s a different story with specs. The Mega is pretty much the same device as the Note 2, although it does not come with the S-Pen and its specifications are not as good.
Even though the rear plastic cover looks cheap on the Mega, we are not sold on the faux leather either, this is because we can already see a wrinkle appearing along the edge of the Note 3 on the back. Having said that, the Note 3 does look far better than the dated design of the Mega 5.8. Again, more details on these two devices can be found in the second video.
