If you are planning to buy FIFA 14 on PC as a preference over console versions, you are definitely going to want to check out this excellent gameplay video we have for you. The FIFA 14 demo is live on PC and now we get to see the addictive Ultimate Team mode, played with the highest settings possible.
Although FIFA remains highly popular on console, many gamers simply can’t ignore the PC version of the franchise, especially with the ability to install custom settings and hook up a game controller to make navigation similar to a console experience.
If you have a system capable of outputting some serious power, you’ll be pleased to know that FIFA 14 looks great on max settings. One video released this week takes a look at the Ultimate Team mode, which EA generously provides a little preview of in the demo – now available on all platforms at last.
EA has pre-selected a team for you to try Ultimate Team with, as we see in this clip with players such as Ibrahimovic, Iniesta, Mascherano, Dani Alves and Thierry Henry. There’s even a full selection of substitute players given as well, so you can fully tinker with your Ultimate Team lineup before heading into a match.
Unfortunately the gameplay match against Man City isn’t the best it has to be said, with no goals scored and not a lot of chances on goal. Having said that, it does provide a nice insight into how Ultimate Team will play like on PC with the highest settings.
There’s one moment in the clip though where there is a close up of the crowd, and it looks absolutely shocking it has to be said. Hopefully that’s the only thing that EA has forgotten to improve as it otherwise looks very good.
Do you think you can handle running FIFA 14 on max settings?
