Over the years we have seen some handsets being compared to other devices that in our honest opinion are mismatched, such as a recent video comparing the Galaxy Note 3 to the Xperia Z1. However, we did say because some people are undecided if they would make the move to a larger handset, they need to see the differences.
It is for this very reason why a popular website has done the same to see just how an upcoming phablet compares to a current popular smartphone. The Verge has been given an exclusive look at the Nokia Lumia 1520 and put it side-by-side with Sony’s Xperia Z.
Comparing these two devices shows just how big that 6-inch display on the upcoming Lumia 1520 Windows Phone really is. This is not a full on comparison; they have only used the Xperia Z to show off that larger 1080p display of the 1520.
We can tell you that some of the Nokia Lumia 1520 specs include the screen mentioned above, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory with an option to increase this with the microSD card slot and also Windows Phone 8.
One of the other key features is a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, which can be used simultaneously.
Not much else is known about the new Nokia handset, but we cannot wait to see a Nokia Lumia 1520 vs. Galaxy Note 3 in a showdown, although looking at the specs it will not be any sort of contest.
