If you are seriously considering picking up Call of Duty Ghosts as your first next-gen title purchase alongside the PS4 or Xbox One console, you are definitely going to need to check out these screenshots we have for you. The upcoming game from Activision and Infinity Ward has been compared side by side with the current Black Ops2 game – the results are pretty interesting to say the least.
A lot has been made about the fact that this will be the first Call of Duty game running on brand new next-gen hardware, with Infinity Ward being able to utilize a new engine as well. We all heard the jokes about the AI fish and dog, but fans will now be hoping to see some serious evidence that the next game is well worth picking up over the likes of Battlefield 4.
Although we haven’t seen any proper comparisons of Black Ops 2 Vs COD Ghosts yet, we have found some screenshots which we think may give you a idea of the graphics boost that Ghosts will come with.
The guys over at GadgetMill managed to snap some images of the November 5 game, showing the same aspects with the Black Ops 2 engine to give you an idea of the improvements – if there are any that is.
We say that, as some of you may be looking at the screenshots over at the site, thinking that Black Ops 2 may actually feature better visuals based on these examples. Take the one showing the scoped view as evidence – can you really say that the graphics for the Ghosts build looks significantly better? – we doubt it.
Even the next test during the environments category shows that there isn’t a clear cut difference to suggest that Ghosts will look more amazing than Black Ops 2. We really need to see more screenshots in the coming weeks, as we shouldn’t close the case on this based on these images alone.
