How have you been getting on with the main Black Ops 2 Origins zombie easter egg? We told you about the big secret in a previous analysis on the easter egg, but now we have a very pleasing confirmation to give you – the easter egg can also be completed in solo mode and we have evidence.
If you have been playing the new Origins map, there is a high chance that you would have already finished it with friends and witnessed the epic and very exciting cutscene at the end once you step into the teleporter. It’s the first time that the zombies has ‘ended’ just like that regardless of the wave you are on, but it’s well worth the effort once you actually get to that stage.
It’s a feeling of relief after countless stress and painful experiences on previous zombie maps, all culminating into this final cutscene of surprises. We won’t talk too much about the contents for those that haven’t seen it yet, but we do have word that it can be accessed with just one player only.
We’ve provided a video above, showing how Spiderbite from NextGenTactics managed to complete the easter egg on solo mode, unlocking the ‘little lost girl’ achievement in the process.
There was a debate on whether the ‘Rain Fire’ part of the easter egg could be completed with just one player – but it possible as you’ll see in the clip.
To do it though, you’ll apparently need some seriously good timing, so don’t worry if you can’t get it done the first time. A full tutorial on how to do it on solo mode has been promised soon, so stay tuned and we’ll have that for you when it’s available.
How far have you managed to get, playing through the easter egg on solo mode?
