About a year ago you may have found yourself deliberating over the Nokia Lumia 920 or 928, but there is now a new boy in town, and that is the Nokia Lumia 1020, but is it better enough to warrant an early upgrade? Some of you may think this is a no brainer and say that it is an worth upgrade, but we know there are various factors that could sway your decision.
All three share several things in common, with the 4.5-inch display being one of them, 2000 mAh battery, 1.5GHz processor and all run Windows 8. It is these small factors that can make for a perplexing upgrade deliberation.
That being said, there are several differences – well there has to be. Take the display, the Lumia 920 comes with an LCD display, the 928 and the 1020 have AMOLED displays and although this does have its positives, the color is not as vibrant as on the 920.
Performance wise the 920 and 928 have the same sort of RAM and so are evenly matched. The 1020 has upgraded RAM, although this is mostly due to the camera, which we know is the biggest selling point of the Lumia 1020.
Day-to-day functions seem to be the same with all three, yet more proof that the camera makes better use of the extra RAM
It is pretty clear upgrading to the 1020 over the 920 or the 928 is not as simple as we would have assumed, so keep watching the video below to help make your decision a little easier.
There are also several reviews comparing the Nokia Lumia to Android handsets, such as the Moto X to see how well their cameras perform because we know the camera is the main features of the 1020, and the biggest selling point.
