PAX Prime 2013: Dragon Age 3 Inquisition gameplay

By Updated on

With PAX Prime 2013 in full swing we have seen a lot of news flowing this weekend from the event, although we wanted to feature some gameplay now for those that love action role-playing games. The game is Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and this is obviously the sequel to Dragon Age 2 and Origins.

You should remember that any Dragon Age: Inquisition gameplay right now would be a really early look at the game. While we don’t have a release date, it is widely reported that the game will land in Q3 of 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.

The live Dragon Age: Inquisition demo can be seen in a video below this article and runs for 25 minutes. It should be noted that this footage was shown live on stage at PAX Prime, so you shouldn’t expect it to be the best quality although you certainly gain a lot more insight into actual Dragon Age 3 gameplay.

Do you like the style of Dragon Age: Inquisition gameplay that you can see in the video below? We heard all the way back in 2011 that Dragon Age 3 might include Skyrim elements, and after seeing the gameplay you can notice a few similarities that are welcomed in our opinion.

BioWare’s former CEO, Ray Muzyka, did state that Dragon Age 3 would be impacted by other popular open world games and they don’t come much bigger than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We did hear a while ago that BioWare were checking this particular game out “aggressively” when developing Inquisition.
