With the new 2013-14 football season now underway the BT Sport app has now been updated, and with it has brought a host of improved features to help give the user a far better experience.

In order to be able to use the new BT Sport app you will first need to subscribe to BT Sport 1 or 2 and ESPN live and on the go. Key BT Sport app features – This latest update to the popular app covers a variety of sporting events, but it is football that most interests us today. You can use the BT Sport app on your Android or iOS device, which can be found on the Google Play Store or iTunes.

Never miss a moment of this football season thanks to live streaming from the three sports channels we mentioned earlier. That is not all, as you can also view streamed events that were not televised on those TV channels.

However, if you did miss a televised game then you can just turn to your app and use the On-demand feature. If you do not have time to watch the full match, or are interested to see how rival teams have been doing then the highlights and interviews section will be ideal for you.

After watching those highlights you will no doubt have an opinion as to how a football match went, and so being able to get involved in a lively debate via Twitter polls as well as Q&As is a major positive for this app.

Other features include all fixtures, those results and league tables, rotating screen now switches to full screen mode, major fixes to resolve the bug issues and various performance enhancements.
