The HTC One Max hasn’t seen a release date yet and official specs will land in time, but it seems one UK store knows enough to feature some HTC One Max cases and put them up for pre-order in the UK. The only leaks we have seen feature some vague pictures in the wild with different specs, so this is a pretty bold move by Mobile Fun.
You can see some of the Trident branded Cyclops Series HTC One Max cases in the screenshots on this page, which offer minimal bulk and mix that with enough protection for the majority of users. The smartphone accessory websites explains these cases are similar to the Otterbox Commuter and Case-Mate Barely There, in terms of the amount they cover your phone with a case.
Key features for The Cyclops include a shock absorbent TPE, hardened polycarbonate material along with a screen protector that is built-in. The claim of military-grade protection for these HTC One Max cases is yet to be proven in real world tests.
You can see that the Trident Cyclops Series retail at £32.99 in the UK. The colors on offer for these HTC One Max cases include green, red, blue and black. Take a look at the official product page on Mobile Fun to see more details and pictures.
Do you think brands take a big risk releasing HTC One Max cases this early, or could it be that a low production rate mixed with early sales deliver a massive win?
We pictured how the HTC One Max might look next to the Mini and original form factor in a video from a few days ago.
