The new 2014 Nissan Terrano line-up comes with several trim levels and engine choices, and while the new models will not be released until October authorized dealerships in India have already started to take bookings at a cost of Rs. 50,000 down.
We have learned that the Nissan Terrano price in India is expected to be Rs. 8.5 lakh for the base model, Rs. 9.5 lakh for the mid-range variant and Rs. 12.5 lakh for the top of the range model. However, we have to remind you that this pricing is tentative.
Looking over the various 2014 Nissan Terrano models thanks to InAutoNews you will get the 1.6-liter petrol engine with the XL trim, the 1.5-litre Diesel, 85PS in XE, XL-D and XL-D+. Finally, we have the 1.5-litre Diesel, 110PS engine with the trim levels XL-D, XV-D, and XV-D Premium.
You’ll notice by the image above that the Nissan Terrano has aggressive styling, and although it is based on the Renault Duster, the new Terrano has a sportier look. It is the hope that these changes will help persuade Indian drivers to the new model because of those changes.
Sales of compact SUVs have started to see an increase in India, so it was obvious that Nissan was going to take advantage of this, but have they done enough with the 2014 Nissan Terrano?
