Earlier this year Apple showed us their vision of the next-gen Mac Pro, although at the time they did not give us details as to when they would release the device, apart from later this year. However the New Mac Pro 2013 release has been teased with a recent Apple trailer, which shows that we should not have that long to wait.
They now tell us that the future of desktops is coming in the fall in what looks more of a car commercial than one for a desktop computer. This is because the camera work pays close attention to certain angles of the device, much like we saw with the upcoming Ferrari due to be revealed during next months Frankfurt Motor Show.
We discussed the all-new Mac Pro release date, which could be announced next month during the 2013 iPhone event. There are pros and cons for revealing the new Mac Pro at the same time as the next iPhone, but there will be no bigger platform for Apple to launch their new desktop, as the media attention will be massive.
However, as for the final release date we still have no idea. We know that it is in the fall, but it will need to coincide with the release of OS X Mavericks. Maybe Apple will hold a separate event for the launch of the new Mac Pro, the 2013 MacBook Pro refresh and the new Mac OS X Mavericks?
