Acer Chromebook with low specs as portable browser

By Updated on

If you are looking for a Acer Chromebook with low specs just so you can have a portable browser, then the Acer C710-2457 Chromebook could be that very laptop for you. We say this because in a recent review it was said to be the basic, yet a bargain-browsing machine, and we’d have to agree.

Having said that, we need to get this out of the way from the start, and that is the fact that apart from what was said above, there is no other reason why you would want to buy this laptop.

This is the case with many Chromebooks on the market, because it only seems to be the low price that is driving sales, but they need to be in order to convince people to do away with their tablets and get a Chroimebook instead, which we have to say is a tough task.

In the review from PC World, they cover some of those main Acer Chromebook specs, which include a dual-core 1.1GHz Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB SSD (as we know it is all about Cloud storage), 5-hour battery and an 11.2-inch display.

Below we have an Acer Chromebook visual review, and they also follow the same theme saying that it not only has cheap specs, but it feels cheap as well. Would you do away with your tablet in favor of a Chromebook?
