The new Hot Watch Smartwatch looks like a pretty impressive feature, but we are just going on the looks and basic principal. Therefore, we thought it would be a good idea to get a visual impression with a video introducing this new gadget.
We have provided a video above the post showing the Hot Watch features, which discusses a prototype version that could end up being a highly requested gift for those who love their gadgets. The video by CNETTV only lasts about 4 minutes and shows a first look focusing on features other than notifications like emails and messages.
With an inline directional microphone and speaker the Hot Watch Smartwatch can receive and make hands-free calls and connects via Bluetooth to your Android and iOS devices. According to the presenter, the Smartwatch will eventually have watch-face simulators, which allow users to customize the face and change the watch face.
The touch-screen on the front allows users to view messages and notifications and this prototype is currently residing at 8mm in thickness. Another feature also gives the user an alert when their phone is separated from the watch, just in case your phone is stolen or ends up too far away from the owner.
Created by PHTL the Hot Watch Smartwatch contains many features not seen before and the directional-mic-and-speaker combo is ideal for communicating hands-free when your mobile is out of reach. This slim product has impressed the presenter and the 8mm thin gadget makes this a comfortable watch, although we are unsure whether the strap will be the same when the finished product eventually arrives, and whether there will be a few different choices when it comes out.
The Hot Watch is expected to come in four variations with prices ranging from $169 to $249, and apparently the cheaper models will involve plastic and silicone, while the more premium versions will involve quality leather bands and titanium bezels.
Throughout the video we get the impression this device run smoothly without any connection problems, which is a bonus when it comes to smartwatches. In addition, the presenter is eager to get his hands on a production model, but it seems this will not retail until December.
Details on this device can be seen on the official Hot Watch website documenting features and the specs involved, but what do you think of the new Hot Watch Smartwatch by PHTL? Maybe you feel the screen could do without the bezels, thus making it bigger.
