Having already looked at how the HTC Butterfly S compares to the HTC One, it is not a fair comparison because they cater for different needs. This is because one has a large screen while the other has a more premium feel to it.
However, we may soon have a different review, and that will be the HTC One Max vs. Butterfly S. The reason we say this is because we know the larger version of the HTC One is coming, and so will make a trio for the new range.
So what about those prospective HTC One Max specs when compared to the Butterfly S? The screen on the Max will be of the 5.9-inch variety with 1080p, 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, 3,300 mAh battery and the same build quality as the HTC One.
Compare this to the HTC Butterfly S specs with its 5-inch display, 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 3200 mAh battery.
It is clear to see that while the HTC One is not as large as the Butterfly S, the One Max makes certain that it outdoes its sibling in screen size, and so will be more comparative to see a HTC One Max vs. Galaxy Note 3 showdown.
