2013 Nexus 7 2 vs. iPad mini for screen clarity

By Updated on

What better way to do a screen clarity comparison than by watching the same movie on two different devices. Today we are looking at the new Nexus 7 2 vs. iPad mini playing the Denzel Washington film Flight, looking at the pixilation and colour resolution of both.

The above video by Rehtenk512 lasts just over 7 minutes and during this time we also get to see both devices playing YouTube videos for those sceptical about the initial quality of the film. The text on both has impressed the presenter, while viewing the film we get the opinion he shows preference to the screen clarity of the new Nexus 7 2.

For those of you more concerned with a comparison of specs we recently highlighted both the Nexus 7 2 and iPad Mini specifications being analysed on video. With both models near enough the same size the smaller Nexus 7 2 is slightly thicker, and we understand that many consumers prefer the anodized aluminium of the iPad mini, as opposed to the plastic design of the new Nexus.

The smaller Nexus naturally has a smaller screen and this has prompted iPad mini owners to demand future iPad minis’ to have a Retina display, although we are unsure this will happen in the near future because of battery concerns. Without babbling on too much we thought we would leave you to check out the video above, so feel free to comment in the section below.
