Fallout 4 tops Gamescom desired surprise

By Updated on

This week we performed a few polls on our social channels and those of other popular gaming communities, which focused on what surprise game announcement would be most welcomed at Gamescom or even most shocking.

Fallout 4 tops desired game surprise for Gamescom – the feedback we received from a number of Google Plus communities and a Facebook poll revealed Fallout 4 as most desired. This game hasn’t been officially announced yet, but this hasn’t stopped gamers from wanting Fallout 4 as a shock announcement at Gamescom 2013.

It doesn’t necessarily mean the majority of fans expect Fallout 4 to be revealed at Gamescom, but it is clear most people would love this shock more than any other. Pete Hines has shown a lot of reservation on Twitter when asked directly about Fallout 4, and it is clear the developers are in no rush to reveal anything just because the gamers want it.

Other desired Gamescom news and announcements include Uncharted 4, Gran Turismo 6 for PS4 and full reveal of GTA 5 multiplayer. These are just a few of the most popular desires for a gaming surprise at Gamescom, although the biggest shock would certainly be Fallout 4 being revealed in some way.

What would top your list of shock gaming announcements at Gamescom? What do you desire most and would Fallout 4 be the biggest shock for you?

One feature we would love to mention that some commenter’s have recommended on certain blogs is a Duel Wield system for Fallout 4 like we saw in Skyrim. Personally, we spent well over 600 hours playing Skyrim and loved every minute.

There is a number of ways duel wielding could be included in Fallout 4 and one way includes via a perk after leveling up, although the majority of fans make it clear that this sort of feature should only include small guns like pistols.

Would you like to see Skyrim type duel wielding in Fallout 4? It is worth noting one of the downsides is the bad aiming with this type of weapon setup, but we’d leave our readers to debate that in the comments and the need for Fallout 4 news in 2013.

I think it would sound good. It would be a bit harder, but that’s the fun.
