As Olympus intend to treat us with the option of a new digital camera the PEN E-P5 has been highlighted on a first look video giving us the opportunity to check out this device with everything from unboxing to a quick review.

The video above by davomrmac lasts for around ten and a half minutes and discusses all aspects of this new premium micro four thirds camera. Dave the presenter shows great enthusiasm for this camera, which has caused viewers to ask for more videos including comparisons with other products such as the Lumix GF6.

From what we can see of this camera the screen display looks pretty impressive and so is the overall retro look, so we are hoping to see a full review sometime soon. In addition, we are aware of concerns about it not having a viewfinder and this could be an issue for the more professional photographers among us.

Back in May we compared the Olympus PEN E-P5 versus the E-P3 and highlighted the multimedia capabilities of the Olympus PEN series. Those who love the portable point-and-shoot cameras may want a few extra features like those found on a digital SLR, so the new Olympus PEN E-P5 digital camera could be the ideal device to suit your needs.

Have you been considered an upgrade to the PEN E-P5? We hope to see some more in-depth reviews in the near future.
