Even though the Moto X unveil showed that Motorola’s latest handset was aimed at the mid-range market, it is still obvious that we will be comparing it to the other three big Android devices currently on the market. Those handsets in question are the Galaxy S4, Nexus 4 and HTC One, and as you would imagine there are already a number of reviews pitting these next to each other.
However, we thought we would take a look at three of the most recent video reviews for the Moto X specs vs. Galaxy S4, Nexus 4 and HTC One. Like we said, the Moto X is for a different market and so has been priced accordingly, but are those specs really that far off the big three Android smartphones?
These videos should help to see how these stack up against each other, although we have to remember how cheap the Nexus 4 is considering its specs.
In the first video above the review does say the Moto X comes into an already competitive market, which is strange when the Moto X is a mid-range device. However, some people will be confused about this and looking at the recent hands-on results, well Motorola does have a good handset.
The second video is the head-to-head Moto X vs. HTC One specs comparison, and these are very similar in terms of screen size, but the latter phone comes packing with more powerful hardware.
Finally, the third video is a Moto X vs. Nexus 4 specs comparison, and these two handsets are more equal, although you have to remember the Nexus is around 9 months old now.
Choosing between these four handsets is a tough job, but we cannot help think Motorola has done a pretty decent job, because they had to sacrifice some performance to make certain they had a handset that could beat its rivals in terms of battery life.
