Intel Ivy Bridge-E price leaked with specs

With the release of Intel’s new Haswell range, we find it strange why they would wish to launch an upgrade to their Ivy Bridge processor line, although we should still be excited that the chip maker is still improving their range all the time – even if they are making your buying decision a tough one.

Several days ago the Intel Ivy Bridge-E price leaked along with the specs, and from what we can see there will not be a huge performance increase, but there are a few added benefit.

From what we can make out of those prices that were leaked some of the new models are cheaper than their previous versions, so improved performance with lower prices is the theme that Intel has gone with their new Intel Ivy Bridge-E processors.

When you look at the chart above you will notice there is still no inexpensive hex-core solution, something that consumers had been hoping for, although we cannot have it all. Along with the added benefits we mentioned above, the new Ivy Bridge-E range should be a little smaller in size as well.

The improved Intel Ivy Bridge-E specs can also be seen in the chart above thanks to AnandTech, where you will get to learn what the new cores/threads, clockspeed, L3 Cache and TDP are.

Are you happy with the improvements made to the Ivy Bridge-E range, along with the very respectable pricing, or is Haswell still more appealing to you?
