It is a busy part of the year for the camera industry, as there is a variety of new models coming to the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy NX, Fujifilm X-M1 and the Canon EOS 70D. However, there is another, and this one is the Panasonic GX7, which is very similar to the X-M1, as it to is going for that ever-popular retro look.
Just like everything else, fans of this device have been wondering what the camera actually looks like, and what kind of features the Panasonic GX7 will be packing? Thankfully, the answers to these questions have now been made available, although we are not certain if these can be trusted.
Panasonic GX7 eye candy – There are four new Panasonic GX7 images for you to look at, which you can see for yourself here, thanks to Digital Camera info. Because this camera is sporting the retro look, you could mistake this for a Leica camera from a distance, and so some people would assume you had a camera worth almost $10,000.
Speaking of cost, the Panasonic GX7 is expected to be around €1,000 in Europe for just the body, which equates to $1,325, although this is just a rough figure for now.
Panasonic GX7 specs – Again, we have to advise you that this is just speculation, but the main specifications should consist of a 16-megapixel sensor, 2.76 million dot EVF, shutter speed of 1/8000th of a second, in-body image stabilization, Full HD video recording, 22 different Creative Control settings, NFC, Wi-Fi and more.
Like we said, this is all speculation for now, and so we just have to wait for official confirmation on its design and specs, and we do not even know when the Panasonic GX7 release date will be, but at least we now have a pretty good idea on what the camera will look like, and the kind of performance we can expect as well.
