How often do you see a compact digital camera still being respected and purchased several years after they were released? However, this is a different story for the DSLR, as some people hold on to theirs for years, or even search around looking for a model that is a few years old.
This is just what happens with the likes of Canon and Nikon, because they still have some older models doing rather well, such as the Canon 1100D DSLR, and we’re even more surprised to see people still offering new Canon 1100D DSLR video reviews and general information about specific features or tasks.
In the first video it’s a simple tutorial on how to use the Canon 1100D, and to make the best use from some of its functions. You’ll have to be patient with the guy in the video, as he does seem like very boring, with a hint of Sean Bean.
Next we have the Canon 1100D wildlife test video with a sole aim to show off the cameras HD movie ability, although it will only record at 720p, well the camera is almost two and a half years old.
If you’d like to see some awesome test shots using the 1100D, then the third video will give you a good idea of the kind of results you should expect, although you need to make certain you have the camera on the correct settings.
The final video pits the Canon 1100D against the 700D, 70D and the Nikon D3200, which to us does seem like a strange comparison, but at least it gives you a good idea at how well the 1100D has aged against some of the newer models on the market.
