Huawei Ascend P2 vs. Galaxy S4

If you were to walk up to a group of people and ask them if they have heard of Huawei, chances are many of them would not have, which is a completely different story for Samsung, because they are now one of the most recognized brands in the world. This has not come easy, as it has taken years of hard work, along with producing some great products along the way, but that does not mean Huawei cannot offer quality devices as well.

Huawei Ascend P2 vs. Galaxy S4

To try and prove this we thought we would take a look at their two newest flagship smartphones in a Huawei Ascend P2 vs. Galaxy S4 comparison. Both handsets come with heavyweight hardware, such as the latest in camera and processor technology, although we’re not too sure on the design of the S4, as it’s getting on a bit now when compared to the likes of the HTC One.

The Huawei Ascend P2 display is just 4.7-inches, while the S4 is 5-inches. Having said that, many of you out there believe that the display size on the Ascend P2 is perfect, and we’d have to agree. However, there’s no denying that the S4 with its Full HD display has some appeal as well.

Huawei Ascend P2 vs. Samsung Galaxy S4 performance and camera – The former packs a 1.5GHz Quad-Core Huawei K3V2 processor along with 1GHz of RAM, compared to the 1.6GHz Quad-Core Exynos 5 Octa 5410 and 2GB of RAM for the latter. The Huawei Ascend P2 has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, as does the Galaxy S4, although the P2 only offers a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera when compared to 2-megapixels for the S4.

We certainly love how the Ascend P2 gives the Galaxy S4 a run for its money in some key areas, which you can see in the video review below, but Samsung’s newest flagship smartphone is pretty hard to beat, unless you are the HTC One of course.
