iPhone 5 vs. 4S in more iOS 7 tests, beta 4 confusion

By Updated on

Today, we want to feature a video looking at the iPhone 5 vs. 4S and while this might seem strange considering the iPhone 6 or 5S might be about to release in 2 months time, there’s a valid point in terms of existing users wanting to upgrade to iOS 7.

The video above this article runs for just over 5 minutes and takes a look at iOS 7 beta 3 on the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. They perform a benchmark speed test and in their quick review try to show viewers how both handsets compare on the latest iOS 7 software.

It should be noted that this mobile software isn’t available for public consumption, officially that is, so the performance will likely improve as we move towards a public release of iOS 7 in September.

We saw something similar to this video a couple of weeks ago that focused on the second beta, although there was hopes for iOS 7 beta 4 to go live for download today at some point. The iOS 7 beta 4 release time would normally be about 7PM UK time, but considering Apple published details about their developer website getting hacked the launch might not happen now.

Take a look at the video above, then let us know what you think about the iPhone 5 and 4S running this version of iOS 7? Putting the fact that it is a beta aside, do you think both devices perform well? We first thought iOS 7 beta 4 would release when the developer portal returns, but now we know the downtime was due to a hack.
