Within the last couple of days a new comparison video uploaded to YouTube comparing the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs. HTC One’s Google Play Edition. The Galaxy Note 2 is running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, but in this case it is the CM10.1 CyanogenMod version.
The Google HTC One is known to be better for quicker Android updates although some people might miss the different UI found with Sense 5, so you might see the HTC One too similar to other Android smartphones from a software point of view. Personally, nothing beats stock Android for us especially when you consider how long some handsets have to wait for an Android update.
This battle video can be seen above and it is worth noting both smartphones are on T-Mobile. Take a look at the six and half minute video, then share a comment with the hardware you prefer and software. If you want to learn more about HTC One and the differences between its Google Edition and Sense 5, then we suggest you take a look at our visual review from yesterday.
