If you love looking for Apple’s free apps of the day and week, then you will be glad to know that the new free app of the week is Angry Birds Star Wars. The game was updated to version 1.3.0 last month with a number of improvements and these include some new bonus levels, a new boss fight, power-ups, 20 extra Cloud City levels and a new character.
You can head to the iTunes page for Apple’s App Store right here. Just look to the left of that page and you will see the price is currently set to FREE. You should note that there can also be a hidden agenda of app creators and in this situation it is the in-app purchases. These range from just $0.99 all the way up to $19.99, so if you lack self control then this app could cost iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners a lot of money.
Celebrating iOS App Store Five Year Anniversary – we should also highlight the fact that Apple’s App Store has been going strong for a number of years now and Apple promoted this fact with some free apps. Techno Buffalo took an early stab at what these might be this week and their prediction included Traktor DJ, Where’s My Water?, Tiny Wings and Infinity Blade II. They later updated readers with another article focusing on App of the Week and the five-year celebration.
