Xbox 360 and PS3 owners may have been amazed with Rockstar’s first GTA V gameplay trailer that was released earlier this week, but it wouldn’t have helped ease the mood of PC gamers who are still no closer to finding out if Rockstar has plans to make a PC version of GTA V or not.
Luckily, we can count on the frequent amount of leaks to help us along the way and it looks like we may have stumbled across a beauty for you here. It has been discovered that Rockstar Leeds has recently been searching for a graphics programmer, with the specific requirement on helping the developer bring their latest games over to the PC platform.
This is gold dust for all of the speculation theorists out there, as it could be a massive hint that Rockstar are now starting to secretly develop GTA V for release on PC. It’s also no secret that PC versions of the latest Grand Theft Auto games tend to come out around 6 months after their console release, so it looks like PC owners will finally get their wish in the early months of 2014.
With access to mod development for GTA V, it’s also no secret to say that the PC version of GTA V will end up being the best of all platforms period. Rockstar surely knows this as well, so it would be a big surprise indeed if they didn’t bring the game to PC after the successes of GTA IV on PC – a game that many happy fans are still playing today thanks to mods.
It’s also worth noting that Rockstar has already removed the job listing in question – something to hide perhaps? If you are a PC gamer reading this, let us know your thoughts on the continued silence regarding a PC version. How impressed were you with the first gameplay trailer, knowing too well that those graphics can be improved on even further with mods?
