Buried zombies Petrifier wonder weapon makes you fly

If you have a season pass for Black Ops 2, there is a very high chance that you would have been playing the new Buried zombies map, in the hope of completing the main Black Ops 2 Buried easter egg that Treyarch has planted in the game. At the moment, it looks like the secrets are still out there, but we do have some video gameplay to show you now, for the brand new wonder weapon called the Paralyzer.

There is a big feature to this weapon as well which is getting zombie fans very excited. When using the pack a punch machine, this weapon becomes the Petrifier and has the ability to slow down zombies as well as doing damage to single or multiple zombies in a group.

However, the weapon also has one extra feature – the ability to fly! For the first time ever in a Black Ops 2 zombies map, players can use this new wonder weapon to fly high above the ground and move to different areas in the air. To do it, all you need to do is shoot on the ground with the weapon for a small period of time and then press jump.

You’ll then be launched in the air and you have time to move around, avoiding attacks in the process. When you land though, you’ll be near death so it does need to be used with caution. It is early days yet, but the big talking point is whether this new flying feature is needed to access a new part area of Buried in conjunction with the main easter egg quest.

Treyarch has obviously put this feature into the game for a reason, so we have a feeling that you’ll need to fly over to a new area to complete the last remaining tasks for the easter egg. It would also be great if Treyarch has hidden some extra weapons to use during normal zombie games as well, weapons that can only be obtained by flying with the wonder weapon.

As far as we’re aware, this can be done with both the Petrifier and the Paralyzer. Let us know what you have discovered so far in Buried, and if you have found out any secrets whilst flying in the air. How far are you with the easter egg tasks?
