The official unveil for the 2014 Toyota Corolla will be on June 6, and just to get us in the mood an image of the S model has been placed on the Japanese manufacturers US Facebook wall. However, before you get too excited, it’s only of the rear quarter, but we can already learn a lot.
The 2014 Toyota Corolla S styling being teased shows that some of the Furia Concept design has made it onto the new model, although it’s clear to tell that Toyota has toned things down a little, which to us was rather obvious.
We had hoped to see 2014 Toyota Corolla interior images by now as well, but all we have for the moment is this sole image above. However, with just a few weeks to go until the all-new Corolla unveil we expect there will be several image leaks in that time.
So what can we tell about the 2014 Corolla exterior design? For starters the taillight cluster is comparable to that of the Furia Concept, although it does lack the LEDS, and we can also see a small spoiler on top of the trunk, although this may only be for the S model.
Let’s hope that Toyota does not waste a good opportunity here, as we know the Corolla will be one of the biggest selling cars in the world, so why not make it far more interesting than in recent years. Even if they make use of 50 percent of the Furia they will be on to a winner.
