We have some good news for current AT&T owners, or indeed those that are planning to make the jump over to the US carrier in time for the exciting Samsung Galaxy S4 launch. While many of you may have already ordered a 16GB version, we now have solid release and pricing information for when AT&T will offer the 32GB version of the device.
For some consumers, 16GB is simply not enough storage – especially when consumers find out that they don’t even get the full 16GB with a good portion of the memory already reserved for system resources. This usually applies to music lovers who like to store their entire music library on their phone as they go about their daily business, which is why the 32GB is a lot more suited.
If this is you, you will want to know that AT&T will officially start selling the 32GB Galaxy S4 on Monday May 10. The price will be $249.99, which will commit you to a two-year contract with the carrier and just like the 16GB version, colors will be available in either Black Mist or White Frost.
Another big issue of the 16GB Galaxy S4 is that you can’t install apps to the MicroSD external memory, which means that you’ll have to load all of them up using the internal memory, which obviously isn’t ideal. The big question is whether you feel that an extra $50 is worth it for double the storage space – we’re guessing a lot of you will have no problems with this.
Hopefully stock will be healthy on Monday when the 32GB Galaxy S4 becomes available – will you be ordering online or walk in direct to your nearest store? If you currently have the 16GB version, let us know if you now regret your decision after hearing that the 32GB model is coming soon.
