Nokia revealed the Lumia 720 at the same time as the Lumia 520, and while these share some hardware, there are differences, such as the camera. For a few years now Nokia has produced some superb cameras for their handsets, but is this enough?
The Lumia 720 is a mid-range handset, but we do fear that dressing these handsets up to look pretty and hide the aging hardware will come back to haunt them. Choosing a WP8 model is always a tough task, because they are very similar, but the rear-facing camera of the 720 helps to set it apart against most of the other Windows Phone 8 handsets.
We’ve already seen several reviews for the 720, but how about a Nokia Lumia 720 review that focuses on the camera and video quality? If not then we have found 3 such videos, one above and the other two below.
Firstly, there is an indoor sample video, which has been taken while viewing a toy, test card and a color chart. This is a perfect way to show how the Nokia Lumia 720 handles different colors, and the results are rather impressive.
In the second video you see the 720 taking some footage from a street, and while it does a decent enough job, it’s easy to see this is no high-end device.
The final video is just an unboxing of the Nokia Lumia 720, just to show you what you get in the box. Are you impressed with what the 720 has to offer, or do you think Nokia needs a rethink?
