Call of Duty Ghosts has social mosaic countdown

By Updated on

If you were still having any doubts over Call of Duty Ghosts being the next installment in Activision’s popular shooting franchise, a new official teaser looks to have now sealed the deal. Activision has still not announced the game in an official capacity, but they have started to gather interest on the official Call of Duty website, with what looks to be a social-themed mosaic in the form of iconic character Ghost.

To give you a brief reminder of the events so far, Call of Duty Ghosts had been leaked by Tesco and Target, with both retailers initially listing the game on their respective online websites. Both current gen and next-gen were mentioned as platforms, while Target even went one step further to claim that Call of Duty Ghosts would release on November 5.

If you head to the Call of Duty website, you’ll see the ongoing tease that Activision has cleverly designed. It looks like an image of Ghost is slowly being revealed, with the countdown connected to Twitter and Tweets from fans that use the #CallofDuty hashtag. The image clearly looks like Ghost already, so it is really is now down to Activision to make things official at this point.

We’re also hearing that this may come as early as Wednesday May 1st. We wonder if Activision actually intended to reveal the game this early, or if their hand has been somewhat forced by the premature leaks from Tesco and Target. Either way, Call of Duty Ghosts is coming soon and we can’t wait to see the first gameplay, especially if they have next-gen PS4 and Xbox versions lined up well.

I think it will include Ghost and it would be clever in many ways..Think Ghost of course is the name so thats one reason, but it was also thought Ghost was dead so he would be a ghost. He was a huge character in the Call of Duty series and he was only in ONE GAME!!
