With there now being several Windows 8 convertibles on the market, it’s hard to know which one you should go for. However, every now and again one device comes along and makes things a little tougher for you, as they come in two different sizes, such as the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11, as there’s also a 13-inch version.
It’s great to have a choice between the two, but many of you will look at portability and battery life more, and so the Lenovo IdeaPad 11 performance and battery life will be very important to you.

A recent Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 review has looked at many aspects of this device, and they have given us their take on those key areas we mentioned above. To keep things running smoothly is the 1.4GHz Tegra 3 processor, which works in conjunction with 2GB of RAM. There is also a 64GB SSD, which should be more than enough for your needs. We’ve seen in the past that other similar devices have crashed, but there were no such issues with the IdeaPad 11.
However, Engadget did notice several performance issues, and would often take a little longer to perform tasks. Boot up time is 30 seconds, which is much slower than other Atom-powered tablets.
These performance issues are due to measures to get as much from the battery as possible, which for those who cannot charge the battery on their IdeaPad Yoga 11 as often as they like is ideal. You can expect anywhere between 13- 16 hours of battery life, depending on what tasks you will be doing. While this is a bit of a gap, having any more than 10 hours is ideal for most situations.
If you would like to know more before you make a decision, then we have put a couple of Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 video reviews below for you.
