If you like your pizza a lot and own an Xbox 360, you’re going to be in dream world this week. Microsoft and Pizza Hut have just announced a new partnership, in which Xbox 360 users now have the opportunity to order their favorite pizzas directly from their console, using the brand new Pizza Hut application.
Obviously, the standard methods of telephone and ordering online are clearly getting boring for some. Using the Pizza Hut app on Xbox 360, you can now take your time customizing the perfect pizza on your TV at home and even hook up Kinect to order pizzas solely by using voice commands.
If you have an existing Pizza Hut account, your details will be synced up with the Xbox 360 app automatically, and the system will remember previous purchases and orders the next time you feel peckish. A full menu is available from the app and if you really want to take it one step further, you can then share your customized Xbox 360 pizza on Facebook.
Using Kinect to order a pizza is probably taking things a little too far, but there’s no harm in trying it out with your friends for fun whilst on a half time football break. While some of you may feel that this is on the gimmick side of things, it is another plus for the Xbox 360 console on a whole with regards to entertainment options aside from gaming.
The question is, do you like Pizza Hut, or are you more of a Papa Johns or Dominos kind of person? Let us know if you have already ordered a pizza using the new Xbox 360 app, and whether you enjoyed the experience or not. The app is available to download right now from the Xbox Live marketplace.
