When it comes to the iPad 5 design, there seems to be several rumors to support that the tablet will see a design shift, which has been backed up with some leaked parts. However, we have to point out that these could just be fake parts intended just to generate interest.
We’ve already seen what was said to be the display for the next-gen iPad, which showed a smaller bezel, and now we have several iPad 5 cases, which shows that design shift once again. Tactus came across these cases, which shows the iPad 5 could be lighter and thinner, which seems to back up those early rumors.
If we are to believe the image from Tactus is that of an iPad 5 rear casing, then we can clearly see the power input and volume rocker are in the same place as they are on the iPad mini.
Engadget has also come across another supposed iPad 5 case, which also backs up a thinner bezel design. Okay, so we know we have to take such things with a grain of salt, but it’s hard to ignore what we have now been seeing for several months.
While it’s looking more obvious that the iPad 5 will be a little thinner compared to its predecessor, we do hope this will not affect battery life, as the iPad has one of the best batteries in a tablet currently on the market.
What will you put your money aside for, a new iPad 5, iPad mini 2 or another brand tablet, such as the Nexus 7 sequel?
