When Land Rover showcased the 2014 Range Rover Sport at the New York Auto Show at the end of last month, we already knew its starting price. However, what we did not know was how much all those optional extras would cost, that is until now.

Land Rover has just released the all-new Range Rover Sport configurator, so you can now see the price for those different options. However, don’t expect this tool to give pricing on all variants of the 2014 model, as the configurator only allows for various SE V6 model options, although this is expected to change pretty soon.

Some of the optional extras include the Vision and Convenience Package for $2,210 or Adaptive Cruise Control for $1,295. If you are looking for something to keep your children occupied then the rear seat entertainment for $2,000 is worth considering. With New York being the biggest market for the Range Rover Sport, then we would advise going for the Climate Comfort and Visibility Package for $2,100, as we know how difficult it can be to drive in the Big Apple, along with those changeable weather conditions.

I’ve never been a lover of the SUV, but have to admit the all-new Range Rover Sport is the best Land Rover has produced, along with being their best out of all their SUV’s, come on the Evoque is a bit of a joke – how many times did they roll the car before they found the design they liked? These vehicles are always at their best off-road, so seems such a waste to see them spend more time on the gray stuff than off-road.

Update: Land Rover has now updated their website, so you can configure all 2014 Range Rover Sport models, including the HSE, Supercharged and the Autobiography.
