Over the past few weeks there have been continued rumors as to when AT&T and Sprint would be getting the HTC One; well you’ll be pleased to know both US carriers will offer the handset to their customers on April 19, 2013. Details had leaked yesterday, but both carriers decided to go official today.
This release date will finally put to rest when those of you in the US will be able to get their hands on the HTC One. You might also be wondering about the price, well we can tell you that you will pay $199.99 on either carrier on a two-year contract.
AT&T will have the 32GB model as well as the 64GB HTC One, which we already discussed yesterday, although we’d like to add this version will cost another $100 extra. AT&T is to begin taking pre-orders for the HTC One on April 4, which by the way is this coming Thursday at 1:00pm CT.
However, it seems as though Sprint users will have to wait an extra day, as their pre-orders do not begin until April 5, which is this Friday. Not being able to offer their customers the 64GB storage option could be a bit of an issue, although the unlimited data plan from Sprint does go a long way to alleviate this.
While this deal may not benefit all users, being able to browse the net or watch as many YouTube videos as you like while out and about is sure to lure some people in to the plan, but are you one of them?
