We have known about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for a while now, although the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer has yet to make an official announcement. However, there is some news that could have made things a whole lot more complicated.
You see the new device has been rumored to be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus and there have now been some images leaked online. This is not the confusing part, but rather its name, as SamMobile is reporting this could be the first Samsung Galaxy S 10-inch tablet.
According to the rumor, the Tab 3 may receive a name change to the Samsung Galaxy S Tab, to help replicate some of the success Samsung has had from their Galaxy S range of smartphones. You can see the leaked images of this device from SamMobile above, along with a spec list as well.
If we are to believe this rumor then the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 or Galaxy S tablet will come with a 10-inch display, Exynos 5410 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, with a further 64GB available via a microSD card slot.
There could also be an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Finally, the rumored tablet could offer Full HD 1080p video recording and also a 9,000mAh battery, which is a lot of juice for a battery.
Do you believe Samsung will have more success with this 10-inch tablet if they were to make use of the Galaxy S name?
