We have some fantastic news for Battlefield 3 Premium members across the land now, as it looks like you are finally getting your wish. EA had only previously confirmed Battlefield 4 beta access to those who pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Now, it seems that access is also going to be extended to every member with a premium subscription as well.
It was about time that we saw some concrete evidence of this as well. It needed to happen to restore the faith in subscriber’s minds, and a recent screenshot leak from Origin Russia appears to have confirmed the good news. The information has come courtesy of MyBattlefield, and shows a screenshot from Origin which lists Battlefield 4 beta access to all Premium members.
If confirmed by EA, it now means that for the $50 Premium subscription, users have had five content rich expansion packs, strategy guides, exclusive videos and now a free beta as well – which is looking like fantastic value on the whole. There’s also no sign of server numbers decreasing for BF3 either, so it looks like EA has been spot on in marketing the premium content effectively.
EA has their big Battlefield 4 event scheduled for March 26, so we have a feeling that the company will finalize the beta details there and then to make things official. The beta is due to kick off towards the end of the year, so it looks like it will be playable on the PS4, the next Xbox and PC platforms which is very exciting indeed.
As a Premium owner, are you now very satisfied with your initial $50 purchase since it looks like BF4 beta access is now included with the package? Let us know if you are now willing to buy the PS4 as an added incentive for the beta.
