We are still not 100 percent certain if we will see the release of the iPhone 5S this year or the iPhone 6, although if we were to go on the past it will be the former, then again Apple could surprise us and release both. However, one thing we do know and that is the fact that iOS 7 will be the next mobile OS from Apple.
Expectations are very high for the next OS and looking at some of the concept videos the fans do expect Apple to deliver; unlike they did with iOS 6. One such area that could do with an improvement is the browser, and so thought you would want to see how one fan has envisaged iOS 7 Safari features. Okay, so we know that a lot more needs to be improved first, but Safari is a key part of the operating system and is probably the most used feature as well.
Depending whom you ask a majority of iPhone users will tell you that Apple has neglected Safari over the years, so why has this app not seen the revamp it so rightly deserves? If you head over here you will see several images of how Designer Brent Caswell believes Safari should look in iOS 7 and the many new features the app needs to offer.
Some of the features that Caswell covers is how the new URL bar could look, along with improved Bookmarks, such as better organization and Bookmark Stream similar to Photo Stream. Safari Page Management is something else that could appeal to iOS users, so instead of showing one page at a time you will see four. This does seem like a useful idea, but not sure how practical it is when you consider how small the screen of the iPhone is, even the iPhone 5. However, this would be ideal if Apple were to release an even larger model.
Other features that could see an improvement are faster, easier web sharing, web notification and finally better reader options. Do you agree that some or all of these features could help improve Safari in iOS 7?
