This Nexus 4 price drop is lowest yet

By Updated on

Today, we have seen T-Mobile deliver a Nexus 4 price drop that is certainly the best deal to date from the carrier. You might not be able to get the Smartphone for free with T-Mobile, but you can now get the handset for $49 when you take out a new contract.

This is impressive for a number of reasons, especially considering getting hold of the Nexus 4 had been a real challenge just a few weeks back. The prices on most websites and in local phone stores were raised thanks to demand, although this isn’t a problem right now and T-Mobile are showing this with their new price point.

It is worth noting that this deal is a web-only offer, which only adds to the chance that this is the lowest you’ll see the Nexus 4 both online and offline. There’s no sign that this is a limited discount, but be warned it could be pulled at anytime.

The deal gets better when you take into account the free car charger and no activation charge for all SIM cards.

Google Play were the cheapest place to purchase the Nexus 4 for a while, so considering you will pay around $350 through Play can only make this offer sound even better although that price is contract-free. You can read about the Wireless Charger in an earlier article if this is something you’re interested in.

Actually TM sold the phone for $0 a week ago on a 2 year contract. $49 isn’t bad but buy it from Google directly at $299 or $349, go on a prepaid plan (TM, ST, et al) and it will still probably be cheaper than a direct TM buy.
