Seems as though LG are teasing those of you in the US who are eager to get their hands on the LG Optimus G Pro, as they have been going over the specs once again because it’s due for release pretty soon in Korea. It’s a bit of a shame really because while those in South Korea will be able to take advantage of that new 5.5-inch display, you’ll have a little while longer to wait in North America.
While looking over those specs, which we did a few days ago we can’t help feel that they could have been a little better, as LG needed to go over the top in order to take consumers minds off the fact that LG have a poor reliability rate and also a terrible track record for supplying updates.
It’s obvious that LG would want to tease the specs of the large LG Optimus G Pro, which looks set to go head to head with the Galaxy Note 2, but it won’t have that long in the spotlight, as the Note 3 will be released a little later this year. Who knows, we could even find out more on Samsung’s two-flagship models next month during their Unpacked Event?
The new handset, which will be released in South Korea first will be made available on three carriers KT, LG Uplus, and SK Telecom this Wednesday, but the US will have to wait a little while longer, well sometime in Q2. We should know more during MWC, but there could be other announcements to take the limelight off the 5.5-inch LG Optimus G Pro.
Will you be getting the LG Optimus G Pro or would you rather hold out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3?
