The New York Toy Fair is well underway, and it seems that the poor weather conditions has not dampened the spirits of those attending the show. We already knew that we could see the iPhone LEGO case unveiled, there’s another great product that you might be interested in, and that’s a few kits from the PowerUp range thanks to Tailor Toys.

Firstly we have the PowerUp 2.0 Electric Paper Airplane Conversion Kit and also the Boat one to match. This means that you will be able to use your iPhone or Android smartphone to control your paper airplane and boat. The thought of making a paper plane and then seeing just how well it flies with the aid of a small propeller has always amazed us, so now being able to put this into action is like a dream come true for kids, as well as us adults.

This idea was thought up a couple of years ago now, but we will be able to get our hands on the final product in June of this year and has an age limit of 8 years old and above.

The paper plane kit includes a propeller attached to a motor, which is then mounted onto a paper airplane made from A4 paper, the same goes for the paper boat as well. However, you will need to purchase the conversation kit as well, which then allows you to use your smartphone in order to control your paper plane or boat.

Tailor Toys believes that your creation would be able to fly for up to 10 minutes, although this does depend on weather conditions. However, the operating range will be limited because of using Bluetooth. Could you see yourself making a paper plane or boat and then trying to control it with your iPhone or Android devcie?
