BlackBerry 10 is a week old already and has had a decent start in the UK, which is a good sign that it will do very well in other markets once they get their chance, although Canada has recently joined the party as well. While there will still be those critics who believe that BB10 still doesn’t go far enough to compete with the big two, it’s clear to see that there is an improvement, we just need to have a little patience.
For those of you who have yet to make your mind up about BB10 then we thought we might offer you a visual insight into the best BlackBerry 10 features, which as you can see are detailed in the videos we have for your viewing enjoyment below.
In the first video you’ll notice that it was created almost two weeks ahead of BB10’s release, although this doesn’t matter because they already knew which 5 features they liked the best. You will need to skip past the first minute because it just goes on about the release of a new OS from RIM, well they did not know back then that they are now known as BlackBerry.
The second video can be seen HERE, and while it’s pretty good and covers all the bases, we’re not too happy with the quality of the video. However, looking past that the review is very positive and points out that the keyboard on the Z10 (see a video review roundup of this phone) is the best he has seen on any smartphone device, so that’s a huge tick for BlackBerry 10 because we know how much of a pain the keyboard on the iPhone can be.
Social media is going to be a main feature with BB10, so the news that the camera software will filter images just like is done on Instagram style is said to be a step in the right direction for the OS.
The final video review is taken from a development handset, but because this was created in December, it’s pretty much the release version of BB10. The review is not over the top and loud, so you are able to listen to every detail without becoming annoyed. We have to say we love the overlap on the homescreen as you scroll to the next page.
We hope these videos give you a helping hand, but are considering one of these new BlackBerry handsets?
