Ever since the Nexus 4 launch, a lot of consumers had been wondering what happened to the White model that was supposed to come out. We haven’t heard Google say anything about it as of yet, but it looks like a release in the coming months may be on the cards. An image has popped up online, appearing to show the elusive white Nexus 4 in the wild for the very first time.
It goes without saying that Google has had their fair share of problems with getting the black Nexus 4 model out to consumers. This is reason alone to put the white version on the backburner until regular stock is available, but hopefully that is all about to change.
The guys over at PhoneArena have obtained a picture of the white Nexus 4 in question and it looks very sexy indeed. It features the same grooved texture as the black model, only this time there appears to be a white crystal reflection theme going on which also looks appealing.
The interesting thing to note here, is that data attached to the image references the fact that the picture was taken with an LG Optimus G phone, which could mean that the image has come directly from an LG employee – the company that manufactures the Nexus 4 for Google.
With Google I/O coming up in May, could we possibly see the White Nexus 4 show up available for purchase, or will Google make it available on their Play Store in the coming weeks? It does look very pretty though and we’d love to get our hands on one. Let us know what you think of the first alleged image of the white Nexus 4 – would you buy instantly from the Play Store or not?
